Kemi Olunloyo has said that Davido lacked “manners” while growing up because his mother died of a drug overdose when he was a young boy.

The controversial journalist called out the musician on Twitter for sexually harassing her back in 2018, in the wake of a fresh social media campaign against rape and sexual abuse in Nigeria this past week.

Ms Olunloyo, in a series of tweets, said Davido’s failure to apologise for telling her to “oil her p*ssy because she’s lacking sex” and calling her a “cheap drug user” is the cause of her animosity towards him.

Obviously infuriated by the move, she says she hates Davido “with passion”, and until he says “sorry” she will NOT forgive and forget his sexually offensive remarks.

In a thread of tweets with the hashtag #FightSexualViolence she said:

“Sexual violence in Nigeria starts with sexual harassment. Davido fans don’t know how he sexually harassed me October 20th 2018. His fans and associates endorse this reckless behavior and it spirals. He has found it hard to say “Sorry”, an easy word that goes a long way.”
